    Nice tips. Thanks for sharing.
The domain name generators, since you haven't heard of them before, will take a couple of words that you want to have included, or what your business is about. Then it gives you random names based on that-it's pretty good.

    Let me add something.
The domain should describe your product, brand or service. If you are just starting a new company name, now might be a good time to come up with both a company name and domain that are the same.
Be creative and make a list of as many words as you can describing the content of your website. Remember numbers and hyphens are acceptable.

Another factor to consider when selecting a domain name is whether you want to go with the unique factor or the keyword factor.

This is a lot of uselful information here. Thanks guys. I would like to add some thing though. Sometimes people go for "funky" domain names like "yammer" or "byburt". Although these might just workout fine, but preferably the names should be relevant and intuitive for best results.

Thanks for the tips on choosing a domain. Another important point is make sure that you use the proper spelling of all words in your domain
