FTP CLient?

What is the best FTP client for OS?

I used iglooFTP , aceftp a while ago and they seemed appealing abounding featured. The downside is that both are retail.

Can you recommend me any added finer freeware?

Personally, I won't recommend FileZilla as it opens a lots of connections to your server (yes! sometimes 200+) and if there is a Firewall, possibilities are there that your IP may get blocked.

I use Staff-FTP, it's a freeware and a better solution

Thanks,
Vijay

As for me Cute FTP, WS_FTP, Total Commander, Far manager are good enough.
CuteFTP is one of the most popular programs to use for uploading your data. It's both easy-to-use and powerful.

Hi,

All above mentioned Ftp Clients are fine but I will give priority to FileZilla because it supports SecureFTP too.

Thumbs up

I recommend Filezilla and SmartFTP. Both are great FTP clients.

The most of the mentioned FTP clients support Secure FTP.
Also, you can try WinSCP. It's really good for secure connetions.
WinSCP :: Free SFTP and FTP client for Windows

CoreFTP

We recommend CoreFTP to our clients - it's simple, allows for SFTP/SCP connections, and a free version is available. Free FTP client, secure file transfer software
