Do follow are the links which can be indexed by the crawler and no follow are exactly an opposite to this. Search engines always prefer to dofollow links , but no follow links also helps in getting traffic benefits if its niche related, but they dont give the link benefits.

A nofollow link will not pass PR, but they can still be helpful to drive traffic to your site.

Nofollow is an HTML attribute value used to instruct some search engines that a hyper link should not influence the link target's ranking in the search engine's index. Dofollow - allows the site to pass PR on an outgoing link, thus counting as a vote for the quality of the site in the eyes of . Nofollow - sends signal to the bot that the link is not vouched for so no PR is passed on. Even with a link being "nofollow", the bot still recognizes the link as valid.

Do Follow many look on this as the elder brother of No Follow plug-in you just switch it on and it works, all no follows are removed from comments and trackbacks.
No follow including this link for chronological reasons Bronski’s plug-in doesn’t work with newer versions of word press, but credit where credit is due.

People think about PageRank in lots of different ways.People have compared PageRank to a random surfer model in which PageRank is the probability that a random surfer clicking on links lands on a page. The no follow attribute is supposed to not have any effect on SEO, however some people speculate that it still does carry some weight. No one can really know because Google won't tell you, but a lot of people still think there are still some benefits.

Google has created algorithms such as Dofollow and no-follow. While nofollow blogs are not crawled by spiders, Dofollow blogs allows search engine spiders to crawl.
